When We Are No Longer Fearful (2024).
Info
The landscape is often associated with both a therapeutic power and an emotional presence of its own. Perhaps they are not so easily distinguishable. The idea of the landscape is imbued simultaneously with an embodiment of wonder, and sense of solace. When We Are No Longer Fearful”, recalls some of the paths around the valley of the Blyth where I walk. From the crunch of frost beneath a winter mist, to the light of a luxuriously late summer evening, I have often known an experience of connection and reprieve.
“It is only when we are no longer fearful that we begin to create.” J.M.W. Turner.
“One becomes dependent…on sea and mountains, which give a sense of security…” T. S. Eliot.
